The background is that Axispoint designed and rolled out a new performance management system which involved rating staff against both objectives and four defined behaviours – Driving For Results, Working Together, Making Great Decisions, and Doing It Right. Axispoint wrote more detailed descriptors and effective/ineffective indicators for assessment and ratings purposes. The Brief would require a series of posters to be designed, one poster per behaviour, that can be up on the walls in the London and Milton Keynes offices – 1 set for London and 3 sets for MK.
What Axispoint wanted to achieve with the posters was to support the goal of having the behaviours becoming part of the everyday vocabulary rather than abstract concepts that only get thought about at appraisal time. They wanted something bright, visually attractive, and corporate (without being overly ‘formal’) that can start an internal ‘brand’. Axispoint have talked about ways in which they can get to a state where the behaviours become an expression of ‘it’s just how we do things here’.
The posters were printed A1 and A2 size and then mounted onto 3mm foamex.
